Writer Mawuli Adjei Reads at Ghana Voices Series

Ghanaian writer, Dr. Mawuli Adjei, is writer of the month at the Ghana Voices Series, on Wednesday, 26 June 2013 at the Goethe Institut, Accra. The reading begins at 7PM and ends at 8PM. The Ghana Voices Series is a Writers Project of Ghana monthly book reading series that features mainly Ghanaian published writers, and occasionally writers of other nationalities.

Dr. Adjei, who is a poet, novelist and lecturer of Literature at the Department of English of the University of Ghana, and an award-winning writer and critique, will be reading from his latest novel “Taboo”. (Copies at the University of Ghana bookshop and we hear copies will be available at the reading for purchase).

From a statement of the Writers Project of Ghana website: “Mawuli has three books to his credit— the novels The Jewel of Kabibi (Infinity Publications, in press), Taboo (Kwadwoan Publishers, 2012) and the poetry collection Testament of the Seasons (ERASKA Print). He is currently working on a third novel, Unchained.”

The Ghana Voices Series is a free event at a serene atmosphere at the Goethe Institut.
