Update of Book Launch and Reading by Taiye Selasi

We are receiving updates and changes concerning the book launch and reading event by Ghanaian-Nigerian Taiye Selasi, author of the novel Ghana Must Go

First off, we had publicised the event as happening at Movenpick Hotel, with $60 plus copy of the novel. We also said it was scheduled for Wednesday, 17 July, 2013. All that has changed.

Tuesday, 16 July 2013
Taiye is reading at Taverna Tropicana, Nima, on Tuesday, 16 July, from 8PM. The programme will feature singer Jojo Abbot, DJ Kobina Graham, Minou Keks and Sewor Okudzeto.

Wednesday, 17 July 2013
The second event, a reading and discussion together with Eric Don-Arthur, is slated for Wednesday, 17 July at Villa Monticello.

We hope these are the final changes. Spread the word, so that we do to have bibliophiles, erroneously, flooding Movenpick Hotel.

What is good about these new arrangements is that there will be no need to worry about how to attend Taiye’s launch and reading, as well as the Hangout with Nigerians Chibundu Onuzo and Emmanuel Iduma at the Du Bois Centre on Wednesday, 17 July.
